Smart Flashlight Converter (the "App") is developed and operated by FreeApps.mobi ("we", "us", "our").

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

We collect anonymous, non-personally identifiable information to improve App performance, troubleshoot errors, and optimize user experience:

Device information: model, operating system version, language, time zone

App version, crash logs, performance metrics

Network type, anonymized IP address (used only for analytics, not linked to your identity)

Usage statistics: feature interactions, session duration

Advertising ID (AAID/GAID): used by AdMob and Firebase Analytics for ad delivery and crash analysis. The advertising ID is a resettable identifier that is not linked to any personal information. You may reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time via your device's Google Settings.

1.2 Permissions & Local Data

The App requests permissions only with your explicit consent and uses them solely for core functionality.

Before any system permission prompt, we will display an in-app explanation of why the permission is needed and how data will (or will not) be used. You may revoke any permission at any time via device Settings.

Camera Permission: Required only for flashlight. No photos/videos are captured or stored.

File handling: When you select a file for conversion, the file is processed locally on your device (or, if cloud conversion is used, as described in Section 2.2). No file content is read or accessed without your explicit selection.

Images & Videos: If your App converts image or video formats, we use Android's Photo Picker – you grant access only to the specific media files you select, not your entire media library.

For Both Types:

Internet Permission: Used to load third‑party advertisements and send anonymous crash/analytics data. No personal information is transmitted.

Notification Permission (Optional): To send App updates or feature alerts. You may disable this permission at any time.

All App settings and temporary files are stored locally on your device only and are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App cache.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII), including but not limited to:

Name, email address, phone number, physical address

Precise location data, contacts, SMS, calendar, or sensitive personal information

2. Log Data

In the event of an App error, we collect anonymous Log Data via third‑party tools. This data includes device IP address (anonymized), device name, OS version, App configuration, usage time/date, and general statistics. Log Data is anonymized, used only for troubleshooting, and not linked to your identity.

3. Cookies

The App does not use cookies directly. However, third‑party SDKs (e.g., AdMob) may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery and analytics. You may manage cookie preferences via your device or browser settings.

4. Data Security

We implement industry‑standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

All data processed by third‑party services is encrypted in transit.

For file conversion Apps: if cloud processing is used, files are encrypted during transmission and automatically purged from servers after conversion.

While we take reasonable precautions, no electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Controls

You have full control over your data and permissions:

Revoke Permissions: Disable camera, storage (if used), internet, or notification permissions at any time in your device's Settings.

Delete Local Data: Clear App cache/data or uninstall the App to remove all locally stored settings and temporary files.

Opt Out of Analytics: Disable anonymous data collection via your device's privacy settings (where available) or reset your advertising ID.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, contact us immediately, and we will delete the information.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted within the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
